Jonny Greenwood's 'Norwegian Wood' soundtrack released on Nonesuch Records

Jonny Greenwood's acclaimed score to 'There Will Be Blood' garnered praise worldwide, scooping countless awards along the way. He's now written his second major film score, to 'Norwegian Wood' , a film by Vietnamese director Tran Anh Hung, after Haruki Murakami's cult novel. Jonny Greenwood appears at David Arnold's "Concert for CARE"

Jonny Greenwood’s award-winning score to 'There Will Be Blood' was centre-stage in David Arnold's “Concert for CARE”, a charity fund-raising gala event held in London’s Royal Albert Hall last month. The composer was one of 15 stage and screen writers who were present and whose music was performed. Others included Michael Nyman, Dario Marianelli, George Fenton, Craig Armstrong, Harry Gregson-Williams, Rachel Portman and Patrick Doyle. Read more

Doghouse: Jonny Greenwood's New Orchestral Work

Doghouse is a new orchestral work by Jonny Greenwood, scored for string trio and large orchestra and lasting some 23 minutes. It was premiered at BBC Maida Vale, London on 28 February by the BBC Concert Orchestra and Robert Ziegler. Read more

Greenwood Wins Ivor Novello Award

Jonny Greenwood was the proud recipient of an Ivor Novello Award in the category 'Best Film Score' at the Ivor Novello Awards on 21st May, for his score for Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood. The award was collected on Jonny's behalf by his producer, Graeme Stewart. The award represents well-deserved recognition for a highly original score, much of which utilises two works published by Faber Music: Popcorn Superhet Receiver and Smear. Read more

Jonny Greenwood Misses Out on BAFTA

Jonny Greenwood missed out on a BAFTA for There Will Be Blood, when the winners were announced at the British Academy Film Awards.
