He works with bands and solo artists alike and has recently been developing his production skills. In July 2013 Matthew releases an instrumental album for London based independent label Trestle records. Recording under his own name, the tracks are a combination Krautrock, lo-fi indie and minimalist sound collages, with Matthew providing the infectious melodies and hooks he is known for
Always interested in exploring new musical connections, Matthew has recently teamed up with fellow Faber writer Marc Sylvan. Together they formed the project Buro, setting their sights on writing instrumental music for the moving image.
