Sasha Johnson Manning

(1963 - )


Sasha Johnson Manning studied singing, cello and piano at the Royal Academy of Music. She began composing at the age of seven when her mother showed her how to notate the tunes in her head. She has written many well-loved anthems, carols and songs and was the composer-in-residence for the St Louis Chamber Chorus in Missouri for eight years. She has composed for Emma Kirkby, James Bowman, Holly Marland, John Turner and the London Baroque.
