Nicholas Singer

Nicholas Singer is an Emmy-nominated composer from London UK, with 17 years experience of scoring music for film, television, theatre, videogames and installations.

He has worked on a wide variety of projects with varying subjects and requirements, from ambient music in the London and Paris Aquariums, to documentaries for HBO and the BBC- from films for Amnesty International, The New York Times and the Guardian, to commercials for Saatchi & Saatchi and Santander.

In 2015 Nicholas was nominated for Best Composition in Feature Film at the International Music & Sound Awards, for his work on the critically acclaimed HBO feature documentary Night Will Fall, the story behind the film made by Allied troops in 1945 of the horrors they witnessed in concentration camps, that was never shown.

He is currently working on Where The Wind Blew, a feature documentary from the team behind Night Will Fall, about Soviet nuclear testing in Kazakhstan. Nicholas is also working on Neanderthal Fight Club, a BBC documentary series in association with Andy Serkis & The Imaginarium.

He studied music at Oxford University and composition at the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
