Harvey's Cello Octet, commissioned by international octet Conjunto Ibérico was premiered this autumn at Lithuania’s Gaida Festival in the capital, Vilnius.
The Festival also organised a Harvey focus and gave a host of national premieres with a selection of his orchestral, chamber and electronic repertoire. Harvey’s works were featured in five concerts at the Festival from 24-31 October, performed by a variety of artists from Lithuania and Latvia.
