We are very proud to announce that Marc Sylvan has been commissioned to write the theme for the BBC's Reporting Scotland. This is BBC Scotland's flagship television news programme, providing in-depth coverage of stories from around Scotland plus sport and weather Monday-Friday.

The programme is currently being relaunched, with a new title sequence complemented by Marc's contemporary theme and sound design beds throughout the show. This relaunch coincides with BBC Scotland's move of their headquarters to Pacific Quay in Glasgow in August 2007. The new building will be one of the most modern, state of the art, digital broadcasting facilities in the world, complete with the BBC's first HD-capable newsroom.

Reporting Scotland airs four times a day on BBC One Scotland and is the second most watched programme in Scotland, after Eastenders. The programme can also be viewed in full as a live or on-demand video stream from the BBC Scotland Player over the Internet.
