John Lunn’s theme tune to ITV’s critically acclaimed costume drama Downton Abbey, arranged for piano solo, is now available in print or download from the Faber Music Store.
Specially written for the series by John Lunn, a highly regarded Scottish composer whose has written the scores for numerous acclaimed TV series including Marchlands, Little Dorrit, Bleak House and The Street. His music possesses a wonderfully unique voice that spans the spectrum of musical style. Classically trained yet contemporary in attitude, Lunn combines a highly intelligent and sensitive approach with a sound that always finds the emotional core of drama.
Recent winner of the Royal Television Society’s award for Best TV Music for his evocative score to Going Postal by Mob Film Company and Sky One, Lunn's music for the Sky One series Hotel Babylon was also nominated for an Ivor Novello Award in 2007.
