PETER SCULTHORPE Great Sandy Island for orchestra (1998) Faber Music Ltd 3 Queen Square London WC1N 3AU Great Sandy Island was commissioned by Suntory Limited for the Suntory Hall International Program for Music Composition in 1998. The first performance was given by the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, at Tokyo Opera City, conducted by Kazufumi Yamashita, on 13 October 1998.
