Reviews

‘The highlight of the programme… A tight, effective piece.’
SRF (Jenny Berg), 12 June 2019

‘The undisputed highlight of the concert… an angularly rhythmic prelude for the ensemble (reinforced by brass, piano and glockenspiel) culminated in the first, most complex, dialogue between the soloists. A section entitled ‘Lullaby’ initially calmed the troubled emotional world a little, but only to gain strength for the second dialogue of the soloists… then diverse timbres and very sophisticated rhythms brought the ear the pleasures promised by the movement title "Alegrias". The final section "Lamento" ended in a climax which drew seconds of silence from the audience before the tension erupted into an enthusiastic and prolonged standing ovation.’
Badische Zeitung (Erich Kreiger), 13 June 2019
