New London Pictures is a three-movement work that takes as its theme different aspects of modern London.
'Millennium Bridge' describes the pedestrian’s journey across this wonderful new landmark over the Thames, starting at the imposing Tate Modern,crossing the busy river, and onwards to St.Paul’s Cathedral with its bells ringing out over the great city. 
The 'London Eye' is the large ferris wheel that is situated on the South Bank of the River Thames. This movement depicts a “flight” on this riverside wheel, at the top of which we see the whole of London spread out beneath us.
The Mayor of London, Ken Livingston, introduced the congestion charge to London in the early part of 2003. This movement, 'Congestion Charge', is self-explanatory – here are Londoners attempting to go about their business in the face of overwhelming odds...
