'Oboe Quintet' reviews

'… exquisite … this first London performance revealed the composers highly cultured ear for mood and colour … it has all the nocturnal mystery of Schoenberg’s ‘Verklärte Nacht’, with none of the rhetoric or urgency of that piece, preferring a mood of contemplation and nuance.
