Places are still available for our latest Media Music Academy course – devoted to composing for film, drama and animation – which starts on 6th November. Led by Chris Smith with contributions from an extraordinary range of specialists, this part-time course takes place over five weeks on Wednesday evenings, at Bloomsbury House (Central London), and includes an opportunity to record with live musicians. Scheduled contributors include: Don Boyd (film director), Andy Glen (film music editor), Julian Nott (composer for Wallace and Gromit and other animations), Maggie Rodford (composer agent and music supervisor), Kevin Sargent (composer) and Mel Wesson (composer and collaborator with Hans Zimmer).
