This is a unique opportunity to assist in the day-to-day running of the IT Department of a leading international music publisher and distributor. 
 
Job Title: Systems Administrator/Developer
Location: Harlow, Essex, with occasional visits to central London headquarters
Status: Full-time, permanent
Start date: 15th June 2019 or earlier
Salary: Commensurate with experience
 
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years’ professional experience in IT, who will hit the ground running at this pivotal and high-pressured time as our business transitions onto a brand-new ERP system. 
 
The successful candidate will be keen to learn and acquire new skills, and demonstrate an ability to quickly absorb and retain information. You will be organised and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail; have good interpersonal skills, communicate clearly and accurately; and carry yourself in a professional manner and take pride in your work. We are keen to work with someone who favours robust and future-proof solutions over short-term fixes.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Systems administration, support, configuration & development
  • Development of Crystal Reports / SSRS Reports for users & third-party clients
  • Query development using SQL Server & MS Access
  • C#.NET customisation of systems
  • Liaison with colleagues and clients re. technological issues/requirements
  • Liaison with systems providers & third-party publisher clients
  • Temporarily oversee the department in the IT Manager’s absence
Required Experience:
  • A graduate with a computer science or other technical degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as part of an IT Department (references required)
  • MS Access or another RDBMS
  • MS Office
Desirable Experience:
  • SQL Server & SSRS
  • Crystal Reports
  • C#.NET
