Commission:: Originally written for Lawrence Power within the Lockdown Commissions project, commissioned by the Viola Commissioning Circle and funded by a generous donation from Nicholas and Judith Goodison
First Performance:: The first performance of the original version was given by Lawrence Power in an online performance filmed at Snape Maltings, on 6 September 2020. This version was recorded by Samuel Nemtanu (violin) and Sarah Jane Pugh (voice) in 2023.
