'Meredith has made within it a radiant choral piece for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain that could stand alone, son without lumière.'   The Observer (Fiona Maddocks)
Anna Meredith's Five Telegrams was one of the highlights of the 2018 BBC Proms season. A stunning aural and visual spectacle performed simultaneously both inside and outside the Royal Albert Hall on the First Night by massed choral and orchestral forces with live film projection.

The five movements explored a different method of communication used in World War I. The second of these, Nothing to be Written, was scored for a cappella chorus and delivered beautifully by the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and Sakari Oramo. The 6½-minute movement was later performed separately by the choir under Ben Parry, and we're delighted that it can now be offered for performance to other choirs.
