Faber Music Hire Library

We hire instrumental, vocal and choral scores and parts to professional and non-professional performers all over the world. As a publisher we also have facilities to manufacture our own printed materials in-house, many of which are available as print-on-demand. To promote our own catalogue, as well as the other catalogues we distribute, we provide perusal scores in both physical form and online, free of charge for one month (unless specified otherwise).

We represent the following catalogues:

  • Warner Chappell
  • Bärenreiter
  • Bärenreiter Prague
  • Alkor
  • Peer
  • Curwen
  • Threefold
  • Michael Daugherty Music
  • Warp Publishing

How to hire

We encourage you to place your hire order online via Zinfonia. Customer feedback demonstrates that this is an efficient and convenient method of ordering hire materials from many of the world’s largest hire/rental catalogues.

Zinfonia registration is free. Registered users can:

  • Quickly locate and display information and links for thousands of composers, titles and publishers;
  • Communicate directly with their local distributor to ask questions, receive quotes or to place an order;
  • Use the My Catalogue section to keep the results of their searches together in one place;
  • Keep all of their orders together and receive automatic status updates direct from Zinfonia Connect publisher systems

Orders can be secured by accepting our Zinfonia quote. We suggest you place your order as soon as possible in case some materials need to be manufactured or imported from our suppliers.

You may order perusal scores either via Zinfonia or by email. If ordering by email, please include your contact details as well as the delivery and invoice addresses.
Many of our perusal scores are available for viewing online via the associated work page on this website.

Print-on-demand (“Special Sale”)

Operas, Dance Works & Silent Film Scores

Orders for perusal scores and performance materials may be placed via Zinfonia. In addition to your proposed performance details please include information about your ticket prices and the audience capacity of your venue. We will then send you an indication of hire fees payable and, if relevant, advise you on the cost of performance rights and any other terms and conditions.
If you are seeking permission to choreograph a work not originally intended for dance please note that we may have to consult the relevant composer for approval of your request before proceeding.  Use of copyright music for public dance performance in the UK is not licensed by the PRS and you must discuss performance rights with us.
