How accessible this website is

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
  • Some images may not have appropriate alternative text.
  • Certain text and background combinations may not meet sufficient contrast ratios.
  • Some form elements may not be properly labelled.
  • Keyboard navigation is inconsistent in areas such as dropdown menus and embedded media, meaning not all content can be accessed using a keyboard alone.
  • There is no “skip to main content” feature for keyboard users.
  • Some pages may not have a clear heading structure or skip links.
  • Video or audio content may lack transcripts or captions.
  • Certain interactive components (such as score viewers) may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
  • Some link text is not descriptive (e.g. “click here”).
  • There may be missing or unclear focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • If present, CAPTCHA or authentication processes may not be fully accessible.
We are actively working to address these issues and improve the overall accessibility of the site.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
  • Images without text alternatives: Some decorative or functional images may be missing alt attributes. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content).
  • Low contrast text: Certain text (e.g. overlaid banners or footer links) may have insufficient contrast. This fails 1.4.3 (Contrast Minimum).
  • Non-descriptive link text: Some link text is not descriptive (e.g. “click here”) failing 2.4.4 (Link Purpose - In Context).
  • Missing form labels: Some input fields do not have associated labels or descriptive text. This fails 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships) and 3.3.2 (Labels or Instructions).
  • Keyboard navigation issues: i) Some dropdowns or interactive elements cannot be accessed via keyboard. This fails 2.1.1 (Keyboard).  ii) Missing keyboard focus indicators on some buttons and links, failing 2.4.7 (Focus Visible)
  • No visible skip link: There is no ‘skip-to-content’ link. This fails 2.4.1 (Bypass Blocks).
  • Lack of accessible multimedia alternatives: Some videos and audio lack captions or transcripts. This fails 1.2.1 and 1.2.2.
  • Authentication processes: If present, may not comply with 3.3.8 (Accessible Authentication).
Disproportionate burden

At this time, we have not claimed any content as a disproportionate burden under the regulations.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

PDFs or downloadable documents published before 23 September 2018 are not fully accessible but are outside the scope of the accessibility regulations.
