Jessica Curry’s latest video game for The Chinese Room, So Let Us Melt, has garnered three trophies at the annual Game Audio Network Guild awards in San Francisco.

So Let Us Melt was conceived for Google Daydream’s VR software, and Curry’s original score perfectly blends choir, strings and electronics to create a new aural world that complements the breath-taking worlds being created on the screen during the course of the game.

The GANG awards were:

  • Best Music for a Casual/Social Game
  • Best Music for an Indie Game
  • Best Sound Design in a Casual/Social Game

"Across the 15 tracks and hour of music, you’ll be whisked away to a fantastical world full of wonder and delight and feel every part of its power at your finger tips. Easily one of the best classical releases of 2017, and one of the best game soundtracks of the year too – I urge you to pick this up."
