We recently sat down with composer and pianist Neil Brand to ask about the influences and early ideas for his wonderful album, ‘Unmade Movie Themes’. The collection of tracks include beautiful orchestral themes and detailed underscores reminiscent of film & TV cues from years gone by.
The emotive pieces often started as piano demos which would evolve into stunning full arrangements, as heard on the final album - here. Neil was kind enough to play us several tracks on the piano and spoke about his love of Americana music from the 80s. We hope you enjoy!
