Sales & Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking a Sales & Customer Service Assistant to help us run our busy sales office in Harlow, Essex. Ideally, the successful applicant will have a good knowledge of music theory and enjoy working both as part of a team, and on their own initiative. Key tasks include inputting orders, answering customer queries and telesales, as well as advising customers on promotions and offers. Computer literacy, excellent English language and admin skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work as part of a team. Faber Music’s award-winning Harlow facility Faber Music Distribution is a dedicated printed music service, catering for the needs of some of the world’s best-known printed music publishers.

Responsibilities:

  • Keying & processing orders received via phone and email
  • Assisting with the smooth running of Amazon and other key accounts, including order input responding to queries & checking stock
  • Responding to customer enquiries relating to product, deliveries etc.
  • Addressing any issues relating to customer service including tracking parcels
  • Liaising with other departments in Harlow & London offices as necessary
  • Occasional visits to trade customers and involvement with exhibitions
  • Assisting in other departments as and when required, including the warehouse

Requirements for the role:

  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
  • Excellent admin skills
  • Ability to reliably commute to Harlow or plan to relocate before starting work
  • Good knowledge of music theory
  • The ability to work well as part of a team

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (day shift, Monday to Friday, no weekends)
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Location: Harlow, Essex
