Performance notes

  • Pizz - play the passage pizzicato - after the line ends, play normally with the bow
  • B.P - gradually increase the bow pressure
  • O.P - over pressure with the bow, resulting in a cracking sound
  • S.P - play the passage on the bridge, molto sul ponticello
  • l.v - laissez vibrer, let the note ring
  • Accidentals apply per bar. Trills are always between semitones unless otherwise stated.
