Performance Notes

  • Let all notes on upper stave resonate for as long as possible. (Staccato indications represent a short and quick bow speed, but the notes should always remain vibrating.)
  • The whole piece is to be played spiccato, with an even emphasis on all notes on the lower stave (no accents on this line).
  • Upper line always to be a dynamic above lower line.
