Dance Duets can be enjoyed by cello players of about grade 2-3 upwards. It is excellent concert material and offers a wide range of techniques including (easy) fast finger work, extensive pizzicato, leggiero bowing, long legato lines, double stopping- and even the occasional chance to stamp! The cello parts are of equal interest, taking players on a journey across Europe to South America, exploring the energetic flow and crispy rhythms of different cultural dances along the way.
