Franck's Violin Sonata in A was written in 1886 as a wedding present for the 28-year-old violinist Eugène Ysaÿe. It is one of the finest and most popular of all violin sonatas. This authoritative edition from is prepared by Carl Hermann and contains a piano score with separate violin part. The violin part contains fingerings by Maxim Jacobsen.
