David Mitcham scores Netflix's first nature feature film, 'Secret Lives of Orangutans'.
Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the film follows a remarkable group of orangutans in the pristine jungles of Sumatra. At the centre of this story is 8-year-old Eden, who’s about to embark on the most challenging moment of her life.
Directed by Huw Cordey, Secret Lives of Orangutans follows some of the characters that featured in the hugely successful Our Planet series.
David Mitcham's brilliant original soundtrack - recorded with the Dream Town Orchestra, at British Grove Studios in July 2023 - will be released on 16th August. The feature length documentary premieres on Netflix on 22nd August.
