One of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, David Bowie achieved musical immortality through his timeless classics, from “Heroes” to ‘Life on Mars?’. The height of his career in the 70s and 80s was marked by continuous re-invention and innovation, from the glam rock of ‘Ziggy Stardust’ and ‘Aladdin Sane’ to the post-disco sound of ‘Let’s Dance’. His influence continued into the 21st century with the release of Blackstar just days before his death on 10th January 2016, which was mourned deeply across the world.
