‘The tough, confronting, repetitive chords of Metallica, its more sentimental (and palling) middle section and its dancing, concluding pages with the, well, “folkish”, if you insist, rasping, amplified “Kit - fiddle” (eighth - sized violin) all held the attention. The piece definitely warrants repeating.’
