Two recently released films, On A Clear Day and The Oyster Farmer, have original scores by Faber's Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck.
On A Clear Day, directed by Gaby Dellal and starring Peter Mullan and Brenda Blethyn, was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Now out in the UK it is scheduled for US release by Focus Features later this year.
The Oyster Farmer, written and directed by Anna Reeves, was released in Australia in July. A love story about a man who runs away up an isolated Australian river and finds a job with eighth-generation oyster farmers, it is inspired by the photographic book The Language of Oysters.
