“Why does the world need a Piano Day? Mostly, because it doesn't hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most importantly, the listener.” Nils Frahm, Piano Day founder

Faber Music and Leiter are marking the 10th anniversary of Piano Day in 2025 with a new official sheet music collection. Featuring a curated selection of music inspired by Piano Day albums across the years, Piano Day: The Collection brings together music by Nils Frahm, Hania Rani, Olafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, Olivia Belli and many more.

Carefully selected repertoire, suitable for intermediate pianists, is presented in programmatic order in a beautifully produced, sewn-bound paperback book. Piano Day: The Collection is the perfect way for piano enthusiasts to join in the celebrations – wherever you are in the world.

Piano Day is an annual worldwide event founded by Nils Frahm in 2015. It takes place on the 88th day of the year – 29th March in 2025 – inspired by the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated. Every year it provokes special concerts, onstage and online, as well as radio shows, podcasts, and playlists.

The book will be celebrated with a live event in the Barbican Centre foyer in London on 2nd April, featuring several Faber Music artists involved with Piano Day.
