Torsten Rasch’s song cycle Le Serpent Rouge, (a BBC commission) received its world premiere on Wednesday 17 November at Maida Vale studios in London. The BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by André de Ridder accompanied Korean soprano Yeree Suh in her performance of the 13 poems from Le Serpent Rouge - a controversial text that inspired Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code.
