We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Marketing Executive with a genuine passion for music. The successful candidate will help us to deliver Faber Music’s marketing strategy through campaigns for a wide variety of music publications across numerous marketing channels including social media, email marketing, events, advertising, PR and analytics. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be part of a European Sales & Marketing team with a dynamic remit.

The Role

  • Plan and roll-out integrated marketing campaigns for publications across all music genres.
  • Be responsible for maintaining marketing plans and schedules.
  • Plan, implement and report on organic and paid social media campaigns with creation of engaging content.
  • Create consumer email campaigns and prepare online newsletters for distribution through various channels.
  • Support PR and artist campaigns, including organising launch events and liaising with artist management.
  • Creation of marketing assets for online and physical use.
  • Oversee the Faber Music Teachers’ Community, including organising content for author blog articles and webinars with an aim to increasing engagement.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience in a marketing role in book publishing or creative industries.
  • Experience of managing business social media accounts and advertising (including Meta Business Suite).
  • Experience running email campaigns.
  • Excellent copy-writing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable

  • A professional or Degree-level qualification (Marketing and/or Music is preferable).
  • InDesign and Photoshop skills, with a strong design eye.
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.
  • Experience using analytics for SEO and website optimisation.

Level: Executive / experienced
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (Hybrid: minimum 3 days a week in office)
Location: London
Salary: £30k-£34k, dependent on experience
