Faber Music is seeking a Copyright and Licensing Assistant. The role will involve two distinct areas of responsibility: (1) administration of our pop and film/TV music copyrights, including PRS for Music registrations and liaison with our international sub-publishers; and (2) clearance and acquisition of licences for the use of third party copyrights in our printed music publications, and the licensing out of rights in the third party print music catalogues that we control.

The ideal candidate will have already worked in a copyright or licensing role and will have excellent skills in written English. A conscientious attention to detail is essential, and therefore the candidate must be meticulous and highly organised. Experience in the Vistex Maestro system is highly desirable, as is an interest in popular music and film/TV composers. Benefits include profit share, pension contribution and life cover.

The post is based in the company’s Central London office.
