Faber Music, the leading independent publisher of classical, film/TV, popular and printed music is seeking a Sync and A&R Assistant to work 3 days per week.
This junior or entry-level position is ideal for someone wishing to break into one of music publishing’s most exciting and creative areas. The successful candidate will work in two distinct areas within the commercial and film/TV areas of our business. Firstly they will provide general assistance to our Head of A&R in developing our Faber Alt initiative. This will involve dealing with artists and their managers, creating targeted Spotify playlists, keeping track of live performances and updating our website and social media feeds. Secondly they will provide assistance to our Sync and Composer Manager (Film/TV), dealing with music licensing and briefs, new business and general administrative support.
A love of both classical and popular music and their use in film and TV are essential for this role, as are diligence, creative flair and a willingness to attend evening gigs. Benefits include profit share, pension contribution and life cover.
