Afferentur regi is one of Anton Bruckner's finest small-scale sacred choral works, for SATB choir. It can be performed with organ (or piano) alone but is greatly enhanced by the use of trombones and strings as specified. As with most of his works, Bruckner revisted this motet and made revisions; the final version has been chosen. This piece is perfect for choirs wishing to explore the work of this great composer, offering challenge and reward in equal measure.
