Brevis is a short piece for piano and E-Bow that was commissioned by Bang On A Can in New York, and premiered via livestream by Vicky Chow as part of the annual Bang On A Can Marathon in October 2020.
The 4-minute piece is in two short sections, the of which features an E-Bow to produce a sustained drone.
