Carol of King Cnut is the fifth and final piece in Benjamin Britten's Christmas choral suite 'Christ's Nativity'. This work for unaccompanied mixed voices is a perfect example of the young Britten's masterful vocal writing, and the suite was destined to become a major repertoire work.
