The German language version of Ernst Toch's Fuge Aus Der Geographie (The Geographical Fugue) for speaking chorus is composed for an unaccompanied mixed voices chorus. This piece is the third movement of Toch's Gesprochene Musik (Spoken Music), which is commonly regarded as being the invention of the idiom of the 'Spoken Chorus'.
