The text describes a scene which paints the heavenly throne of God, around which four creatures are endlessly singing the praise of God. The music builds suspenseful arcs of worship and longing, balancing on the border between ecstasy and sincerity.

Being written for an accomplished choir of girls aged between 10 and 21, the music draws from classical form, with a touch of contemporary dance music.

Commissioned by and dedicated to Margareta Raab and the Girls Choir of Uppsala Cathedral.
