The composer's emotional response to Allegri's Miserere setting the same text for off-stage soloists (SSA) and two on-stage choirs (SATB, STB). Commissioned by The Tallis Scholars and first performed by them, conducted by Peter Philips, at the Proms at St Jude's, St Jude on the Hill, London on 1 July 2016.
