Piano Duo (2 Pianists, 2 Pianos). Mozart composed this sonata in 1781, for a private concert at which he performed it with his student, Josepha Barbara Aurnhammer, two years his junior (and at whose home the concert took place; they also played the double-concerto in Eb K365). He wrote the Primo Part of this Sonata for her, and it was also to her that six of his sonatas for violin and piano were dedicated. 

Mozart komponierte diese Sonate und Fuge für 2 Klaviere 1781 für ein Privatkonzert, bei dem er sie zusammen mit seiner zwei Jahre jüngeren Schülerin Josepha Barbara Aurnhammer aufführte (in deren Haus das Konzert stattfand; sie spielten auch das Doppelkonzert in Es KV365). Für sie schrieb er den Primo-Teil dieser Sonate, und ihr waren auch sechs seiner Sonaten für Violine und Klavier gewidmet.
