Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is an award-winning video game, for which Jessica Curry wrote the much-lauded score. The composer writes that “the game is inspired by the ‘cosy catastrophe’ fiction of writers like John Wyndham, and is a story about the end of the world as experienced by a small village in rural Shropshire in the 1980s. But really it’s a game about love and forgiveness, and the small acts that define our lives.”

The Mourning Tree gives a voice to Wendy, until then just an opinionated pensioner whose history and carefully hidden hurt invites us to see in a different, more sympathetic light.
