Madison Willing is a film composer, music producer and DJ who was born in North London and grew up between London, Los Angeles and New York. 

Having trained in classical flute and piano at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama before studying jazz flute at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, her composition work developed into the worlds of neo-classical, minimalism, techno and ambient music at Edinburgh University. 

Madison’s work includes short films such as BIFA Longlisted Princess and BAFTA shortlisted The Flying Gold of Arabuko, which screened at festivals including Jackson Wild, NaturVision, Aesthetica, Norwich and BFI Future Film Festival, as well as multiple BBC Arena documentaries which have won awards such as the RTS and Grierson Award for Best Arts Documentary. Other recent shorts include A Film About A Pudding, which recently screened at Annecy Animation 2021 Festival, and All Is Now, which has recently been shortlisted for a Grierson Award. 

Since graduating with a masters in Composing for Film & Television at NFTS, Madison has worked on two feature documentaries and collaborated with music producers on upcoming releases. Her debut vinyl EP, in collaboration with the renowned drum and bass producer dBridge, will be released this month on Exit Records.
