Piano Music of the Russian Five (Vol. 2) is the second volume of selected piano pieces by the so-called "Russian Five", also known as "The Mighty Bunch"; Mily Balakirev, César Cui, Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Alexander Borodin. This unique volume brings together a wide range of works that are otherwise difficult to access and were edited by Christof Rüger in the 1980s.

 

Klaviermusik der Russischen Fünf Vol. 2 ist der zweite Band mit ausgewählten Klavierstücken der sogenannten „Gruppe der Fünf", auch „Das mächtige Häuflein" genannt; Dies waren Milij Balakirew, César Cui, Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakow und Alexander Borodin. Die Sammlung vereint verstreut erschienen und ansonsten nur schwer zugängliche Werke, die in den 1980er Jahren von Christof Rüger herausgegeben wurden.
